Beef Blend Compound BUtter

Keeping this compound butter blend ready to go in the fridge is a must! having perfectly flavored steak butter on hand comes in handy more often than you would think - it is great for spicing up any dish that needs a splash of flavor. This butter goes great with our Reverse sear steak recipe.

Preparation time: 50 minutes

Cooling time: 2 hours

Total time: 2 hours 50 minutes

 

Ingredients:

8oz of unsalted butter

2tsp Lamay Trading Co. Compound Butter Beef Blend seasoning

Equipment:

 wax paper

a maxing bowl

a large spoon or spatula

Instructions:

1.       Let the butter soften on the counter for 30-45 minutes (do not melt butter)

2.       Combine seasoning and softened butter in bowl and mix well. It helps to fold the butter over itself several times.

3.       Place the mixed butter on the wax paper and roll into a cylinder so you have a nice log of butter.

4.      Place the butter in the fridge and allow it to firm up. This can take1-2 hours.
